Whirlow Hall Farm Incubator Hire Service – 2016
Hire an incubator from Whirlow Hall Farm in April/May or June/July
Please book early to avoid disappointment, places will be allocated on a first come first served
basis on receipt of a deposit. Bookings for 2015 open on 9th November 2015.
Hire equipment includes one dozen duck eggs, plus food and full instructions on how to use the
incubator and rear the ducklings. The incubation process takes about 4 weeks and the ducklings
are usually kept for up to a week after hatching, before being returned to the farm (or you can keep
them if you wish). Please read the notes on the booking form carefully before you decide which
dates to choose.
The cost of this service is £100.00. A £20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure the
booking.
We appreciate it isn’t always easy to call at the farm at set times so we are continuing to offer an
optional drop off/pick up service for an additional £15 each way, within a 12 mile radius of the farm.
We will bring everything to you, set it up, and collect again on the dates shown. Please note we
can’t give exact times but we can call to let you know we are on our way.
We hope you will have a great experience with your incubator, but if you do have any problems let
us know as soon as possible and we’ll try to help. If none of your ducklings hatch for any reason
we’ll loan you a few so your children will still get to hold a fluffy duckling. If there is a fault with your
equipment (not due to incorrect set-up, use or siting etc.) we will offer you a free hire next time.
New for 2016 – why not bring your class for a farm tour to bring your ducklings back to the farm,
see them settle in and meet our other animals? We are offering a reduced price of £120 for up to
30 children, with a non-refundable deposit of £30. Very limited availability, please see over for
dates. Please phone if you want to bring a smaller or larger group, or for more information.

enclosing your deposit to secure the booking. Cheques should be made payable to Whirlow Hall
Farm Trust, with the name of your school or group on the back.

The balance of payment, including the drop off/return fee, and farm tour if booked, is due 3 weeks
before the hire period starts.
