Please provide analysis results measured by using Gel Electrophoresis graph, NanoDrop and * Please note that fields marked with asterisk mark (*) are required For us to approve and evaluate the samples, please complete the information with correct details timely Updated: 2013.02.01 Agilent Bioanalyzer or other methods with one sort or multi-forms. When using Gel Electrophoresis graph and Agilent Bioanalyzer to test gel or other information, the client should indicate the band size of marker in the gel graph. 2. If the samples were treated by RNase, please specify them. 3. After BGI@CHOP receives samples, DNA or Library will be stored at -20oC freezer, RNA or tissue will be stored at -80oC refrigerator. Special treatment: Customers need to provide detailed information for special treatment of certain samples in the information sheet. 4. Requirements for Sample Quality: Samples classified as level B are sufficient for library construction once, while those of level A are qualified and sufficient for library construction for more than twice. Sample preparation following the standard of level A is recommended for guaranteeing a normal progress of the project (The success rate of Level B samples about library construction is about 95%). If samples fail to meet the standard even of level B, and for some reason no more sample can be obtained, please contact BGI Project Coordinator and Project management before sample shipment for consulting. The optimized RNA sample input is 2ug-4ug of total RNA. We recommend customers to check total RNA integrity following isolation using an Agilent Technologies 2100 Bioanalyzer for human (or mammalian) samples with an RNA Integrity Number (RIN) value greater than or equal to 8 . Also RNA sample should be free of DNA and RNAse contamination. 5. Customers are encouraged to keep their own aliquot of samples in storage. All samples submitted to BGI@CHOP will be used for processing and discarded after data delivery. We do not support retrieval of remaining sample from our facility at this time. 6.
