SCM GROUP CHOOSE XYLEXPO 2016 TO STRENGTHEN “MADE IN ITALY”
An impressive installation covering 2,600 square meters will represent the comeback of Scm Group
at the next Xylexpo, the biennial international exhibition of the wood and furniture industry, to be held
at FieraMilano-Rho from Tuesday 24 to Saturday 28 May, 2016.
This long-awaited news will be one of the focal points of the event, celebrating its 25th edition in 2016.
“We were extremely satisfied when we were informed of Scm Group’s decision”, said Lorenzo
Primultini, President of Acimall, the Italian association of Italian woodworking technology
manufacturers, which organizes the exhibition. “We can only be grateful for their decision to come
back to Milan together with the entire Italian and international community, contributing to making
Xylexpo an even bigger and richer showcase, a reference event for the presentation of ideas and
innovations for wood and furniture companies all around the world”.
“The decision to attend the exhibition in Milan has been shared by many companies”, Primultini
added. “They are the real protagonists of our show, putting their trust every two years into Xylexpo,
into its capacity to attract international visitors and to be a place where – all together – we can build
the future of our industry. Now we can say that the entire woodworking community will be at Xylexpo,
with no exceptions. This is a great result that will call massive flows of operators to Milan, also
supported by an economic situation that promises increasing satisfaction".

SCM Group, the biggest Italian group in the woodworking machinery industry, announced they will
exhibit at the next Xylexpo. Their participation in the international industry exhibition fits into a
strategy of strong development and innovation that the Rimini-based group is pursuing in different
