SOUTH VERMILLION COMMUNITY SCHOOL CORPORATION SPECIAL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING July 27, 2015 7:00 P.M., SUPERINTENDENT’S OFFICE The Board of School Trustees of South Vermillion Community School Corporation held a special session school board meeting on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Superintendent’s Office. Members present were Mr. Gilfoy, Mr. Cuel, Mr.Haltom, Mr. Roehm, Mrs. Ave, Mrs. Corado and Mr. West. Mr. Chapman and Mrs. Farrington were also present. AGENDA I. Mr. Roehm abstained from voting. Motion carried 6-0. IV. Decision Agenda A. Recommendation to extend administrative contracts Mr. Gilfoy made a motion to approve to extend the building administrative contracts and central office administrative contract to the end of the 2016-17 school year and Mrs. Corado seconded the motion. Motion carried 7-0. V. Second Call for Citizen Comments – No comments VI. Comments/Correspondence/Information A. Superintendent Mr. Chapman informed the board Centralized Registration is tomorrow from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and parents are encouraged to register online. He also stated there is a new teacher meeting scheduled for Friday to go over paperwork with new staff. Monday, August 3 at 7:30 a.m. there is a staff breakfast at the Middle School for all staff and school board members. The secure entries was started today at Central and will begin on Thursday at the Middle School. B. Board Members Mr. Gilfoy welcomed new staff members. Mr. Corado welcomed new staff members and wished those leaving good luck. VII. Next Board Meeting – Monday, August 17, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. VIII. Adjournment Mr. Cuel made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Mr. West seconded the motion. Motion carried 7-0. Meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m.
