Assistant/Associate Professor of Educational Leadership (9-month tenure-track position) The Department of Education at Louisiana State University Shreveport invites applications for the Assistant / Associate Professor of Educational Leadership (tenure-track position) to begin June or August 2014. Responsibilities include teaching a variety of graduate courses in educational leadership, supervise educational leadership internships, and develop and maintain partnerships with schools. Ability to teach additional areas of educational foundations is desired. This position involves, advising, ongoing program development and accreditation, public school engagement, and service on university committees and other professional activities. Earned doctorate in educational leadership (ABD considered), successful teaching record, and public school experience as practicing assistant principal, principal, central office supervisor, assistant superintendent, superintendent, or a combination thereof is required.
