15-18 years old? Interested in the Arts? Artswork needs you!
Summary
Artswork is looking to work with a small team of creative young people to help inform and enhance our
work.
Introduction
Our mission is to place arts and cultural practice at the heart of work for, with and by children and young
people. We champion, lead and facilitate high quality work led by artists and arts and cultural
organisations. This includes the development of young people as arts practitioners, influencers and
leaders.
We want the voices and views of young people to directly help us shape our work. We are looking to bring
together a group of creative, driven and enthusiastic young people to engage with us and influence us. We
need people who will get creative and get involved, with the first task being to name the group itself!
We would like you to get involved in two ways:
Get Creative! – Whether you’re an aspiring writer, filmmaker, artist or actor, you will use your talents to
help create pieces of work to promote current causes and issues. You will explore themes through various
media, raise awareness for important arts issues, and create interesting and exciting content for our
website.
Get Involved – You’ll work together with your peers to form an advisory panel to help shape Artswork’s
work. This is a part of the role we hope you and your peers will help us develop as we grow together.

culture, this is the perfect role for you.

It can be a platform for your skills
It will give you access to professional development to enhance your skills
You’ll be able to have your voice heard by an arts organisation who want to help children and
young people just like you.
How you’ll be helping us:
-
We want young people’s voices to be central to the organisation
We’re want to work on more creative online content produced for and by young people
We’ll be able to interact with young people who are looking for a future career in the industry

change dependant on the timetable of work). For any extra events, you will be given plenty of notice and
will be offered the opportunity to attend if you would like to.
