Description: Pulp Art will investigate the many ways artists use paper as a medium. Cast, cut, molded, folded and recycled paper will be transformed into incredible works of art. Description: Immerse yourself in the Carnegie's Seventh Annual Art of Food exhibition, and experience food as a complete sensory experience. Budig Theatre’s production of PARADE, the main gallery will feature three artists whose work echoes the themes of the dramatic performance. The five second floor galleries will showcase a lighter side, with colorful abstract paintings, stop motion photography and relief sculptures. Cost: Opening Reception: $8 general public, $5 seniors and students, Free for Carnegie members and children 12 & under; After Opening Night: FREE The Carnegie Art Auction June 7, 2013 6-9pm Support The Carnegie Galleries, help memorialize an influential figure and bring home fantastic works of art at The Carnegie Art Auction. This free and public auction features works from dozens of regional artists, comprised of a large variety of media. All proceeds benefit The Carnegie Galleries and will help establish an onsite memorial for Arlene Gibeau. Ms. Gibeau led The Carnegie for 13 years, transforming it from a dilapidated library into a regional arts center. She passed away in 2011 but left an indelible mark on the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky arts community. Kids That Rock June 2013 Description: Showcasing the artwork of Greater Cincinnati’s next generation of artists, Kids That Rock will fill the Ohio Financial Services Main Gallery with rockin’ artwork in conjunction with Suits That Rock.
