Everyone is waiting for Spring! This Winter can’t last forever. Our horses are getting ready to put us to work,
cleaning, brushing, trimming, conditioning and training. They want to go to the ISHA Spring and Fall shows.
They know there are lots of goodies for them. They know you have fun showing them off. They know they can
win you money!
Check out the 2015 show bill new classes on the ISHA website.

We added two new $50 classes: “Anything Goes” Riding Costume Class and “Anything Goes” Costume
Class In-Hand. How creative can you be?

The popular Open Ranch Horse Pleasure (pattern) class should attract many exhibitors. Give it a try!

We are offering three driving classes immediately after the lunch break: Open Pleasure Driving,
Miniature Horse Pleasure Driving and Amateur Pleasure Driving.

Obstacle course classes are back: Miniature Horse Obstacle in Hand and All Breed Horse/Pony
Obstacle in Hand and All Breed Horse/Pony Obstacle Riding classes. The Obstacle classes will be held
concurrently with morning Halter classes with open cards to allow exhibitors to show in Obstacle and
Halter classes with no time conflicts. The Miniature Horse Obstacle in Hand class will be held in Baker
Arena (half of arena) from 8:30 – 10:00 am. The other two Obstacle course classes will be held in arena
5 (the make-up arena) between 10:30 am - 12:00 pm.

For the adventuresome Adults, you can compete in Adult Lead-line. Riders must be over 18 years old.
Who do you know that would like to lead you around on their favorite horse? No formal attire is
required.

Don’t forget the $100 Halter class, $50 Open Saddle Seat Pleasure, $50 Open Gaited English Pleasure,
$50 Open Hunt Seat Pleasure, $50 Open Western Pleasure and $50 Open Gaited Western Pleasure
(70% paybacks).
From January 1 through April 30, 2015, ISHA is promoting a reduced membership rate. If you join within these
dates, you will save money. AND, the member who recruits the most memberships will be awarded a prize at
next year’s Year End Banquet. (There is a referral name line on the new form.)
ISHA will be continuing the 4-H Individual High Point Junior and Senior Competition and the 4-H Club High
Point Competition programs. The 2015 ISHA goal is to sponsor the overall High Point winner’s registration to
the 4-H Horsemanship Camp.
A new High Point Competition program for non 4-H members and adults will be rolled out soon. Check the
ISHA website for rules and nomination forms. We will have them posted as soon as possible.
Remember, we wouldn’t have ISHA shows if not for the enthusiasm of our exhibitors and the support of our
sponsors and volunteers.
