From the National American Legion Auxiliary - Giving Tuesday
#GivingTuesday celebrates the act of giving back to our Veterans! On the Tuesday following Black Friday
and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday focuses our attention on giving to charitable causes in addition to
other people during the gift-giving season.
The ALA Foundation is participating in an online campaign that will be matched dollar for dollar up to
$10,000 by Innovairre. More information is located at alafoundation.org/givingtuesday
On December 1, 2015, the American Legion Auxiliary community will come together for one purpose: to
celebrate generosity and to give.

Two funds have been established by the ALAF – Veterans Projects Fund and The Mission
Endowment Fund
These address needs of Veterans, Veterans homeless shelters, and to purchase computers and
laptops for Veterans facilities
