Leslie/ Paulette/ passed Course ARCH 62 This revision removes ARCH 054 and adds ARCH 057, ARCH 058, and ARCH 061 to pre-requisites. Textbook was also changed. Prerequisites listings with the “or” need to be clarified—what courses, if any, substitute for Arch 61. Bob/ Brad/ passed Course ENGR 99 This revision adds Distance Education as a Method of Instruction. Changes were also made to Course Objectives and Student Prep and Evaluation. .Assignment and Methods of Instruction for DE need to be attached to the proposal as those fields are not working in the outline. ‘Brad/ Leslie/ passed Proposers Course Pauline Clark/ Cheryl Miller COUNS 2 This course revision updates the course objectives, student learning outcomes, and the texts. Changes were made to Basic Skills, Catalog and Schedule Descriptions, Out of Class Assignments, SLOs, Student Prep and Evaluation, Textbooks. It also adds Distance Learning as a method of Instruction. Brad/ Chris/ passed Proposers Course Patricia Louderback H.ED 12 This is a full course update, updating catalog and schedule description, title change, objectives and course content (using the most current terminology for this discipline), student learning outcome, and textbook. Brad/ Cheryl/ passed Proposers Course Chris Dyer MATH 1 The schedule description, course content, and course objectives have been modified to match the C-ID descriptors. The number of units has changed from three to four. In addition, the textbook, student prep / evaluation and content review sections have been updated. PARA 22 requires the use and familiarity of Judicial Council form which are covered in PARA 65B. 2.PARA 22 requires the writing of legal pleadings. Understanding the formatting of these documents which is covered in PARA 65B is essential. It will help prepare the Theatre or Music major for upper-division course work and give the non-major additional general education options. Transfer to CSU and UC and CSU GE Area C, IGETC Area 3, and WVC GE Area C are requested. Bob/ Chris/ passed First Readings Both courses need to be revised for Student Activities and Faculty Contact Types under DE. Textbook for Geology 15 needs a statement that it is the latest, most appropriate textbook. Proposers Course Robert Lopez/ Chris Dyer GEOL 1B This course revision adds Distance Education. Other updates include textbooks, lecture content, and critical thinking. DE fields need to be corrected for Course GEOL 15 This course revision adds Distance Education as a method of instruction. Textbook was also updated. Removed from Agenda Math 103 and Math 103R: Changes to Basic Skills no longer requested. IV. Consent Agenda: None V. New Business: Kuni explained the continuing process for approving the TMCs (SB 1440 Transfer Degrees). We will take them to the Chancellor for his signatures and then place them on the subsequent board agenda just as FYI (not an approval) . VI. VII. Old Business: None Adjournment
