POST PROM NEWS AND HOW TO STAY INFORMED:
Many great things are happening to gear up for the 2016 Post Prom. We
simply cannot do this without support from our students, staff, parents and
community. Please join our Facebook page at "BASH Post Prom

activities. Help us provide a safe and fun Post Prom for our students!

NEED TO RETURN FORMS TO THE POST PROM COMMITTEE?
A large RED mailbox is located in the BASH Main Office if you need to
return forms to the Post Prom Committee.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - WHAT YOU GET IN RETURN FOR GIVING OF
YOUR TIME:

A safe and fun Post Prom for your child.
A happy and memorable night that your child will remember
forever!
Chances to earn and accumulate additional Bear Prize Tickets for
your Senior just by volunteering or donating to the Post
Prom! (Prize drawing to be held at the Post Prom)
Opportunity to work as a team and celebrate with fellow students
and parents our amazing group of Seniors! OUR SENIORS
ROCK!
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN EARN "EXTRA" BEAR PRIZE
TICKETS:
Parent volunteers and students will earn BEAR PRIZE TICKETS to be used
for the infamous prize drawing at the Post Prom! You will have many
opportunities to earn tickets for:
1. Donating baked goods.
2. Making a donation or monetary gift for Post Prom activities and
event(s).
3. Selling items for the Post Prom fundraisers.
4. Attending Post Prom Meetings (the second Monday of every month 7:30 pm / BASH Cafeteria). Receive BONUS tickets for attending EVERY Post Prom
Meeting.
5. Volunteering at an event. (Extra tickets will not be earned for Fashion
Show participants.)
6. Receiving a gift or donation for the Post Prom from an individual or
business.

October 8: Stop by the Post Prom booth at Student Council's
Homecoming Carnival! Come to play Plinko from 6-9 pm located at BASH
East Entrance! Please email reignerj@dboone.org to volunteer.
October 9: Stop by our table at the Homecoming Football Game to check
out the "new" Boyertown Sweatshirt Blanket and place your order! (Stay
tuned for Spirit Wear coming soon!) Also purchase $5 coupons for
Boscov's "Friends Helping Friends" 25% off discount shopping passes for
October 20th and to purchase Designer Bag Bingo tickets ($25 each) while
quantities last! BAKE SALE ITEMS NEEDED! (Please email
ccarlier@comcast.net if you can donate a baked item.)
October 10: Sponsorship Order Forms Due to make a donation for a
Designer Bag in honor of a Senior. Please email oglennigan@aol.com.
October 11: (PLEASE NOTE date change from October 4th) Post Prom
Bake Sale at Freed's Market on Swamp Pike. BAKED ITEMS
NEEDED! We will also sell Boscov's discount shopping passes and
Designer Bag Bingo tickets! Please contact ccarlier@comcast.net if you can
donate a baked item.
October 12: IMPORTANT - Fashion Show Forms are due for Seniors
wanting to participate in the Post Prom Fashion Show in February. A
parent or representative MUST attend all Post Prom meetings in order for
their child to be in the Fashion Show. The next meeting will be held on
October 12 at BASH Cafeteria 7:30 p.m.
October 14: Yankee Candle Orders due. Information was sent home in
your child's backpack. Delivery date will be Nov. 21. See the online order
feature you can add to your FB page to reach out to family and friends.
October 18: Designer Bag Bingo!!! Over $6,000 in designer bags will be
given away. Tickets are $25 each and selling quickly. (ONLY 200
TICKETS WILL BE SOLD) Please contact ccarlier@comcast.net to
purchase tickets. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and bingo begins at 1:00
pm. Location: St. Francis Academy in Bally. Refreshments will be sold.
October 20: "Friends Helping Friends" Discount Shopping Day at
Boscov's. Purchase your tickets for $5 and get 25% off of your purchases
from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Contact ccarlier@comcast.net to purchase coupons.
October 24: Car Wash at Argento's in Boyertown from 11-2. Volunteers
and supplies needed. Please contact greggmarle@aol.com for more
informaton on how you can help. Don't forget to come out and get your car
washed! Soft pretzels and goodies will be sold!
October 30: Penn State Classic "Sticky Bun" Orders Due. You won't
want to miss out on these delicious treats! Purchase plain for $7; apple for
$9 and nut for $9. Delivery Date will be Nov. 21. Please contact
christine.cirullo@ellucian.com to purchase sticky buns or to return forms.
November 9: POST PROM MEETING - BASH CAFETERIA 7:30 PM
November 13: Vendor Night Extravaganza! A great "Ladies Night Out"
so please mark your calendars and come out to start your holiday shopping
early. Check out the many booths and vendors in attendance. Win
Prizes! Contact christine.cirullo@ellucian.com for more information. Stay
tuned for the time & location being announced soon!
November 21: Applebee's Flapjack Fundraiser in Pottstown from 8-10
a.m. Adults $7 and Kids Under 5 $4.50. Email greggmarle@aol.com to
purchase your tickets and mark your calendars! Looking for Seniors who
would like to help serve!
