A. Vice President, Charles Greene – went to book store, talked about the implemented
book loan proposal this week to put on agenda for next week
B. Parliamentarian, Jordan Collier – remove old flyers from campus
C. Treasurer, Blanca – Meet with Bill Gasper ITT problems to log in to Quick Books
D. Historian, John Corey – I want to post a closing report for this board on website, not
familiar with the website programs. Need help with the website.
E. Secretary, Susana – want to upload the minutes and agenda in the website
F. Dean Smith – our website should represent what we are doing; graduation, comedy
event. Let’s leave it at a really high note
G. Comm. of Fundraising, John Eleby – I was able to graduate, wonderful community
meeting
Advisor Jah’Shams Abdul-Mumin arrived at 2:51pm
Durrell Johnson arrived at 2:54 pm
H. Comm. of Social Activities, Durrell Johnson – I won’t be here this Friday, I’ve been a blind
athlete for 20 years, and I’m heading to Canada to bring back the Silber Gold.
I. Advisor Jah’Shams Abdul-Mumin – submitting a survey or all ASO officer check the box
and add your comment reply as quick as possible. During the summer we will facilitate
training and workshop, your all invited to participate. I will get with Charles Greene to
get a list to all ICC to survey them on their experience, and what services they need
coordinate more efficiently with ASO advisors and ICC.
J. Dean Smith – get together with Alvannette and Jah’Shams to stablish a yearly timeline
2016 in terms of standard events. Commitment, if we stablish a yearly timeline we how
to reach out to students. Secondly, careful with language, fundraising means how much
money you raised, need to put back money to bank accounts from fundraising.
K. President, Jimmy Johnston – I’m pleased with how things are running, I appreciated it.
L. Student Rep. Harold Lewis - My first meeting lasted 6 1/2 hours Jordan was there,
biggest focus on the meeting was the audit and vote of no confidence on Dean Smith,
I’m happy to inform that Dean Smith name has been cross out.
M. Dean, Smith – Jordan, in the future if you are going to sit in the board before making a
decision you have to talk to present board members to look organize and not look like if
we don’t communicate with each other.

Unfinished Business
Advisor, Jah’Shams Abdul-Mumin – Robert’s Rule of Order proposal given by region 10 2 ½ day
training, includes information on Brown Act. 5 ASO members and 5 ICC members along with
advisor. Food is included, will provided transportation on June 26- 28
Charles Greene – motion to approve the training from account line 396 fiscal year 2014-2015

Advisor, Jah’Shams Abdul-Mumin – proposal 50 students to attend, first African Community in
LA 450 years old. July 11. $10 for Food transportation will be provided by the organization of
the event, total of $3,750.
Parliamentarian, Jordan Collier - Move to $3,750 from the 2015-2016 budget line item 497 and
to appoint Emoii Coordinator as support.

Public Comment
Student Rep. Harold Lewis – Computer Club was responsible for referring a large donor to
Charles Drew University College, they were able to receive a large donation for they chemistry
department and science department and now they want to work with us.
Durrell Johnson – question to Harold Lewis, if you have at least two of your computer
accommodate the blind and partially sighted.
Discussion
Dean Smith – the appreciation awards comes up to be $10,500, our most recent budget is
about $12,000 available, we can do this and still have some money left. Is this what you
(executive board members) want?
President Jimmy Johnston – we do want to move forward, if anyone feels differently please
speak now for the proposal of appreciation awards.

Vice President, Charles Greene – let’s get together and start cleaning ASO
President, Jimmy Johnston – ASO would be buying lunch to everybody who participates in
cleaning ASO that day.
