Queensland Cultural Diversity Policy
The Queensland Cultural Diversity Policy was released on 20 December 2013. In 2014, the Department of
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Multicultural Affairs will develop a whole-of-Government action plan
on the following four outcomes:

Language independence

Education participation

Economic independence and participation

Community participation.
For 2013-14, all departments must disclose information on the implementation of the core outcome, Improved
access to interpreters for clients when assessing services.
All core outcomes of the previous Queensland Multicultural Policy have been discontinued.
