Egan Module Aims Increasingly supervision takes place in an organizational setting. It is important that supervisors learn to work with the organizational culture rather than from an individual perspective. This module will help participants to: Appreciate the organizational context in which supervision takes place Acquire the necessary skills to undertake supervision in diverse organizational settings Understand organizational culture and its possible impact on the supervisory process Learning Outcomes: On successful completion of this module the learner will be able to 1. Demonstrate an understanding of the issues that need to be addressed in a contract between the supervisor and the organization using the clinical rhombus PO1 to 8 2. Facilitate supervisees to understand the culture of organizations and to act as agents of change within that culture PO1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 3. Demonstrate an awareness of the impact of organizational culture on the supervisory process PO1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 4.
