DAY FOUR:
WEDNESDAY 28th May: 7 A.M. Light breakfast, prayer
and departure by coach. . Visit to Vettickal Dayara in
Mulanthuruthy, where Parumala Thirumeni meditated,
built around a Cross erected in 1125 AD. Guided tour of
Kolenchery Medical Mission Hospital. Lunch. Then, via
Bethlehem Convent and site of infamous Synod of
Diamper (1599 AD) to Ernakulam and from there by
motor boat across beautiful harbour to Fort Kochi. A
Pilgrimage to Mattancheri, site of the historic Coonen
Cross Oath (1653 AD) taken by our ancestors. Visits to the
Jewish Synagogue, the Church where Vasco D' Gama was
buried. Walk past Chinese fishing nets to the beach.
Dinner and night halt at Youth Hostel, Kochi.
DAY FIVE
THURSDAY 29th May: 7 A.M. Departure for Ascension
Day Holy Qurbana at Trikunnathu Seminary Chapel,
shrine of blessed Mar Theophilus, Metropolitan of
Mumbai and Presidant of MGOCSM, and other holy
fathers. Meet HG Mar Polycarpos, President of OCYM.
On via Trissur to Kunnamkulam.. Visit to Palayur Church
and the bathing tank where St. Thomas is believed to have
converted our ancestors. Via the Guruvayur Temple's
elephant yard (over fifty elephants). Lunch at Bethany
High School. Visit to the ancient Arthat Church, possibly
the oldest Christian community in India, and ostensibly
raided by Tipu Sultan. Meditation. Then a little relaxation
on Chavakkad beach. Dinner back at Sophia Center,
Kottayam and night halt.

DAY SIX
FRIDAY 30th May: 7 A.M. Prayer and departure for
visit to Pampadi Dayara, and tomb of HG Kuriakose
Mar Gregorios (Pampadi Thirumeni) Breakfast. Via
Puthencavu Church (final resting place of HG Mar
Philoxenos) to Bethany Ashram, the Church's oldest
monastery, among secluded hills with a lovely waterfall
(Lunch). Tea will be at Basil Aramana, HQ of HG Mar
Clemis, Met. of Thumpamon, and final resting place of
Mar Eusebius of blessed memory, ex-President of
MGOCSM. This includes a brief visit to the famous
Catholicate College, Pathanamthitta. On to the Mission
Training Centre, Mavelikara, HQ of the Church's
Mission Board (Dinner), meet Metropolitan Mar
Chrysostomos, and visit the shrine of legendary Mission
Metropolitan Geevarghese Mar Osthathios. Dinner.
Finally to the Dhyanamandiram at Parumala (night
halt). Meditation at the shrine of the blessed Saint
Gregorios. Sacrament of Holy Reconciliation
(Confession) for all participants.
DAY SEVEN
SATURDAY 31st May : 7.30 a.m. Holy Qurbana in
English at the Shrine of the Indian Orthodox Church's
first indegenious Saint, Geevarghese Mar Gregorios of
Parumala, followed by breakfast. A brief visit to St.
Mary's Church, Niranam founded by St.Thomas in 54
AD. Return to Parumala for an evaluation of COLT
2014 and its concluding program:12.00 noon.

OBJECTIVES:
1) To encourage youngsters born and/or brought up
outside Kerala to understand and appreciate better their
mother Church, its teachings and its history.
2) To motivate them to leadership in the Christian way.
3) To equip them for a dynamic, Spirit-filled,
Christ-centered life in the 21st Century.
PAYMENT DETAILS:
COST: Rs. 3200/- per person if within Early Bird
