MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN TEEN PREGNANCY AND PARENTING PROJECT, YOUNG FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER AND UCSF FAMILY MEDICINE RESIDENCY PROGRAM This memorandum provides for a cooperative agreement among the Teen Pregnancy and Parenting Project (TAPP), Young Family Resource Center (YFRC) and UCSF Family Medicine Residents to create a curriculum for soon to be fathers on pregnancy, birth education and parenting preparation. Whereas TAPP and YFRC wish to collaborate with UCSF Family Medicine Residents to provide facilities, resources, and curricular development support. Whereas UCSF Family Medicine Residents will collaborate with TAPP and YFRC to develop a curriculum. Therefore, TAPP, YFRC and UCSF Family Medicine Residents enter into the following agreement: I. TAPP and YFRC agree to the following: a. Provide a facility for the development, implementation and piloting of the curriculum. b. Provide resources and guidance during curriculum development c. Provide on-site personnel throughout the duration of the curriculum project d. Recruit soon to be fathers to participate in the curriculum e. Work to sustain the curriculum in the future II. UCSF Family Medicine Residency agrees to the following a. Develop a curriculum for soon to be fathers which includes pregnancy, birth and parenting education b. Develop an evaluation tool for the pregnancy, birth and parenting curriculum c. Create a binder for facilitators d.
