A topic may be an artist, an art movement, a category of art, tools of the trade, themes, or any connection or comparison. ‘Art’ includes all creative arts: painting, sculpture, music, dance, fashion, dramatic productions, graphic design, cinema, ceramics, architecture, calligraphy, jewelry & body adornments, poetry, literature, photography, and others. Presentation Boards should include: Title, pictures, 20 fast facts, at least two sources cited, student name. All pictures should have captions. All pictures and written information should be framed or backed. Grammar and spelling should be checked. Tri-fold should include pre-planning layout and neatness. You may use note cards. Remember, you MUST speak to the ears! You must make eye contact. You must speak in a loud, clear voice and enunciate you words. Do not copy someone else’s words…it won’t sound like you. Make sure to practice out loud at least 25 times. If you are using a powerpoint, I need an electronic copy (e-mail an attachment, USB drive) Your presentation should last between about 5 minutes. Include connections to the world.
