October Teacher of the MonthMrs. Seblano!

For the month of October, Mrs. Seblano is being recognized as the teacher of the month.
She is the junior high school social studies teacher and has been teaching for seven years
throughout her life. She has taught at both St. Joseph Hill and St. Mary's. Mrs. Seblano was
inspired by her fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Carver, who motivated her to become a teacher herself.
If she had a choice, Mrs. Seblano would still teach sixth and seventh grade. Her favorite part
about teaching is being able to interact with students every day. Also, Mrs. Seblano loves to
decorate for holidays.
Mrs. Seblano also has some other interests outside of teaching. She loves to read and
work with animals. She even spends some of her time volunteering with them. Her favorite
holiday is Christmas, and Mrs. Seblano loves decorating her classroom for this holiday. Her
favorite vacation spot is in Florence, Italy, which is the capital city of the Tuscany region. Her
favorite movie is the original Snow White from Disney which came into theaters in 1937. Mrs.
Seblano's birthday is on November 27, which is usually on or around Thanksgiving. She has a
major in psychology, and has worked with children with mental illnesses.
Mrs. Seblano is a great Teacher of the Month for October 2015. We can't wait to see
who will be the teacher for November!
