STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH
Based at Leicestershire County Cricket Club, Grace Road, Leicester, LE2 8AD
Salary: £27,500 p.a. - £32,000 per annum pro rata

Your role:
The post holder will contribute to the achievement of the aims and objectives of the Cricket
Department through:

The delivery and development of strength and conditioning services to Professional Playing
Staff and Academy Players
Working closely in an integrated approach with the rest of the Cricket Department (Head
Coach, Bowling Coach, Physiotherapists, Psychologist, Player Welfare and Development etc.)
Appointing & Overseeing Sports Science Interns and the delivery of a physical preparation
curriculum to County Age-Group Cricketers
You should have:
•
A qualification at degree level (or equivalent) in sports science or related area
specialising in the area of physical preparation of elite athletes
•
UK Strength and Conditioning Association Accreditation, or ability to obtain it within 6
months
•
A proven track record with a high level of experience in the provision of strength and
conditioning services to athletes in elite level sports to improve performance.
