Characterization Shield
Due Tuesday, February 17, 2015
Directions: You need to make a shield as if you
were a knight in medieval times.
 Your shield needs to be made out of poster
board.
 The shield should be divided into four (4)
parts.
 Those divisions should each be colored.
 Each division should include a symbol that
represents a character trait that you have.
 Written paragraph(s) should be on the back
of the shield. In your writing, explain what 4
character traits you chose to represent you
on the shield, and what evidence in your life
supports those traits. Then explain why
those symbols were chosen to represent
that character trait. Also, explain why the
colors on the shield were chosen.
