The aim of the Street Trading Policy is to maximise the width of the pedestrian zone while allowing an
adequate area to accommodate footpath trading where possible. The pedestrian zone is to be a minimum of
1.8metres depending of the footpath width. The kerb zone should be a minimum width of 0.75metres. (Refer
to Footpath Trading Policy Summary Brochure for more details).
Please provide a site plan of the proposed business use of the footpath area below. Drawings must include the
following measurements; Width of the shop front; Width of the footpath; Location of the proposed sign, furniture
and/or goods; Existing public infrastructure Eg. rubbish bins and street signs; and Pedestrian, Trading and Kerb
zones.
