Room Parents Needed!!
Volunteers are needed to as “Class Room
Parents”. The duties of a class room parent
include helping organize events such as the
Valentine and Christmas parties. Please

All former HES cheerleaders
will be in the Homecoming parade!!!
Again, volunteers are needed to walk with
the cheerleaders during the parade route.

The Ridgeland High School (RHS) homecoming
parade will take place on September 10th at
5pm.
Assertive volunteers are needed to participate
in the parade to walk with the HES float and
students. HES float theme will be feature the
Red Cross. Please contact Melanie McKinley
(melaniemckinley@hotmail.com) to help with
homecoming preparations.

On the last Friday of each month, the PTO hosts
spirit cart; which is an opportunity for students
to purchase spirit items, school supplies, and
snacks. Spirit Cart generally falls on the last
Friday of each month. Students are allowed to
visit the Spirit Cart following their lunch time. All
of the proceeds benefit the school’s PTO.

School starts @ 7:00am
Tardy @ 7:30am
(Car riders must arrive at HES by
7:15am in order to eat breakfast).
Student Check-Out Policy
Transportation changes must be made
in writing or called into the office
before 1:30pm. There are no
exceptions. Also, when checking your
student out of school, please have your
photo ID to present to the office staff
for pick-up verification.
Correction: Cookbook Sale!
The 2014/2015 Cookbooks are on sale
for 2 for $25 or 1 for $15 If you would
like to purchase a cookbook, please
send a check or cash in a marked
envelope to the “PTO Cookbook”. The
cookbooks will be on sale until they are
gone!!!!! So, please don’t miss a great
opportunity to support your HES PTO.
