A day in the Potteries with lunch and networking
Members are encouraged to bring guests to this National Event
The Prince’s Regeneration Trust is a charity which works to reuse heritage buildings for the benefit of local
communities. In June 2011 it acquired the Grade 2* Listed Middleport Pottery in Stoke on Trent and is
now undertaking a complex £8.7m project to restore the working pottery with its unique craft skills as well
as creating new space for workshops and a vibrant visitors centre. As part of the visit you will be able to
go on a tour to learn about the unique hand craft processes undertaken to produce the world famous
Burleigh ware and also view the construction work in progress. There will be an opportunity to purchase
the Burleigh pottery at a 10% discount in the shop during the visit. Lunch will be provided. The Emma
Bridgewater factory is within 20mins from Middleport and additional shopping in their factory shop is an
optional extra on the day.

South East Members will be given train timetable options for travel from Euston to Stoke (about 1.5 hours)
