Faculty Position in Pharmaceutics, Drug Delivery, or Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Kentucky, College of Pharmacy invites applications for a tenure-track position at any academic rank in the areas of pharmaceutics, drug delivery, and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics. Candidates with a Ph.D. or other advanced degree in pharmaceutics, chemistry, chemical engineering, or the biomedical sciences and an interest in translational medicine are strongly encouraged to apply. The selected candidate will be expected to develop an independent, extramurally supported research program and to contribute to our professional Pharm. D. program as well as and the graduate training programs in Pharmaceutics and/or Clinical Experimental Therapeutics. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to establish collaborative relationships within and outside the College of Pharmacy and with other University of Kentucky investigators. For clinically-oriented applicants, therapeutic areas of interest include cardiovascular diseases, oncology, infectious diseases, and neuroscience. For pharmaceutics applicants, research emphasis in biologics formulation and solubility enhancement are strongly encouraged to apply.
