International Excellence Scholarship 2016 - 2017

One £5000 scholarship is available for a particularly deserving International applicant for 2016-2017.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA – Please read this information carefully, as your application form will be
automatically rejected if you do not meet ALL of the eligibility criteria listed below:

Applicants must have an offer conditional or unconditional for 2016/17 and be in receipt of a University
BANNER ID Number1 (Student ID Number) to be eligible for this Scholarship. Applications without a
valid University ID Number will be rejected.

To be considered for these scholarships applicants will need to demonstrate the following attributes:
o Applicants should demonstrate a track record of excellent academic performance, as evidence in your
grades achieved to date.
o Applicants should demonstrate evidence of professional and personal skills evidenced through work
experience and extra-curricular activities.

Applicants whose first language is not English must meet the University’s English Language requirements2.
REGULATIONS
These include the following:

Awards must be taken up in September 2016; they cannot be deferred to a later entry.

The awards are available to suitably qualified applicants wishing to undertake full-time Masters study at
Leeds University Business School.
METHOD OF APPLICATION

Applicants must complete all sections of the application form.

You can attach additional documents you consider would strengthen your application e.g. references, CV.

When required to do so you must attach supporting evidence e.g. academic transcripts.

The completed form should be returned to the Postgraduate Admissions Office, Leeds University Business
School by no later than midnight UK time on 31st March 2016 by email to masters@lubs.leeds.ac.uk
APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND RESULT

Applicants will receive an automated email confirming receipt of the application.

Applications are logged by the Postgraduate Admissions Office and passed on to the Director of
Postgraduate Admissions for initial consideration.

Successful applicants can expect to be notified of the outcome of their application within four weeks of the
deadline for applications.

Successful applicants must accept their scholarship within two weeks of receiving the scholarship offer.

To be eligible for this scholarship we would like you to write up to 700 words highlighting why you
