1. Students will demonstrate knowledge of key functions and issues in the healthcare industry including: healthcare economics, healthcare law,
ethical issues pertinent to healthcare organizations, identification of unique management issues encountered by healthcare organizations, and

The Peregrine Exit Survey utilizes a scale ranging from 1 (strongly
disagree) to 5 (strongly agree) on all questions. Each individual learning
outcome represents a distinct question on the exit survey. The mean
score for all graduating students for each specific question will be 4.0,
meaning the students agree to meeting each individual learning
outcome.

learning outcome represents a distinct question on the instrument. The
mean score for each specific question will be 4.0, meaning the group
members agree the students are meeting each individual learning
outcome.
The HSTM Focus Group Instrument utilizes a scale ranging from 1
(strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree) on all questions. Each individual
learning outcome represents a distinct question on the instrument. The
mean score for each specific question will be 4.0, meaning the group

outcome.

Less than 80% of MBA majors scored in the 50th percentile or higher on exam questions




Proposed Courses of Action for Improvement in Learning Outcomes for which Performance Targets Were Not Met:
1. Although the threshold of 80% of students was not met for ISLO 1 through the direct assessment of the Peregrine Exam, the mean performance
scores for the MBA concentration participants cumulatively demonstrate proficiency per Peregrine’s relative interpretation of student

competency. The Faculty in the College of Business will be monitoring the exam results and individual curriculum to find ways to reinforce
