GBC Volunteer Opportunities Membership Committee Job Descriptions AVP of Membership Overview Under the direction of the VP of Membership, the AVP of Membership is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and coordinating resources and activities that support Greater Boston Chapter (“the Chapter”) membership operations. Key membership activities include communications, membership growth and retention, membership benefits, membership enrollment, event registration, customer satisfaction, process management, and reporting. The AVP of Membership works collaboratively with all positions in the GBC Board to ensure growth and sustainability through the active engagement of Chapter members continued financial health of the Chapter through transparent reporting of membership events revenue efficient operation of the Chapter through robust internal processes; and innovation and learning through professional and social networking opportunities.
