RE:
Student Leader Scholarship
I am writing to you on behalf of the Student Leader Scholarship Committee to let you know that
applications for student leader scholarships are now available. Any member of a recognized or
affiliate student organization who contributes to the organization through either a leadership role or
by active membership is eligible to apply for a student leader scholarship. In order to be considered,
qualified students must complete the attached application and return it to the Office of Student
Activities, 209 HUB-Robeson Center by November 1st, 2013 at 5:00 pm. A committee will review
all of the applications and decisions will be made by the end of the fall semester. Decisions will be
based on a combination of factors including: students’ contributions to their organizations; students’
contributions to the greater campus community; and financial need.
If you or a member of your organization is interested in being considered for one of these
scholarships, please be sure to complete and submit the application by the above deadline.
Additional applications can be found in the Office of Student Activities (209 HUB), or online at
http://studentaffairs.psu.edu/hub/studentactivities. Incomplete application packets will not be
accepted.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
