Application Information
How to apply for this scholarship
To apply for this scholarship, you must:
1.
check that you are eligible to apply, enrolled in your 2014 courses and that the enrolment information is
accurate
2.
complete the online application

the online application link will be available on the scholarship webpage on 1 April 2014
submit supporting documentation along with the Supporting Documentation Submission Page (page 2 of this
document).
Multiple and partially complete applications will not be considered; only your first online application will be assessed.
If you have received credit for your studies from another institute that counts towards your current RMIT program you
must provide a copy of your transcript of results.
Online Application Content
The online application will consist of two sections.
Section one is a mix of questions relating to your personal details, enrolment and financial need. If you select yes to a
financial disadvantage question, you must submit supporting documentation. Refer to the Supporting Documentation –
financial and educational disadvantage guide, which outlines acceptable forms of supporting documentation.
Section two contains the five questions listed below. You will be required to provide an answer to each question. Please
limit your responses to 250 words or less.
Application questions





Outline your educational progress at RMIT; in particular discuss any achievements or significant academic
results.
How will this scholarship assist you to achieve your engineering related academic and professional goals?
Describe a situation where you demonstrated the following: high level communication, interpersonal and
team-building skills.
Discuss your motivation for a career in your chosen field of engineering.
What interests you in a work placement, specifically at SEW-EURODRIVE?
Your application and supporting documentation must be submitted by 4pm, Wednesday 7 May 2014.
Late applications will not be assessed.
