In this role Tom will oversee the planning and delivery of technology solutions to ensure that BECU delivers an outstanding experience to our members and is well positioned in the rapidly changing information technology arena. “Technology plays a critical role in delivering an extraordinary experience to our members.” said Benson Porter, BECU President and CEO. “Tom and his team will continue to drive BECU’s innovative use of technology to deliver convenience and value that delights our members.” Prior to joining BECU, Tom served as Chief Information Officer for Home Lending at both Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase, and he served on the Mortgage Banking Association’s Residential Technology Steering Committee. Prior to his work in home lending, Tom was the Chief Information Officer for Corporate Technology at Washington Mutual and at FleetBoston Financial. Tom has over 30 years of technology, operations, and finance experience and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Maine. Tom is on the advisory board of Applied Residential, a Seattle-based home leasing company, and on the Founders Council of The William’s Institute, a nonprofit foundation that is part of the UCLA School of Law.
