2015 PSMS Fall Mushroom Show – Photographic Exhibition
The rules for the show are as follows:
Topic: Original photographs by the submitting artist containing real mushrooms. Not photographs of artwork
representing mushrooms.
Eligibility: Anyone can enter.
Size, Format, & Framing: The size is limited to the complete work including any mat and frame not more than
30" on it maximum side. The works are going to be displayed sitting on rails leaning against a board; therefore,
no hanging hardware is required.
Entry List: A List of Artwork must be submitted electronically by the end-of-day Tuesday, October 6th, 2015. This
allows us to plan space for all submitted artwork. Please submit your list as early as you can.
Delivery with Signed Forms: You must get the artwork and a signed Loan Agreement to PSMS either
1. At the general members meeting on Tuesday October 6th, 4 days before the show, or
2. On Friday, October 9th during setup for the show and exhibition;
3. Before the show opens at Noon on October 10th.
4. By mail to PSMS at CUH, to arrive no later than Tuesday October 6th. If you cannot pick up the artwork
at the close of the show, please provide a pre-paid return shipping label.
The forms must be signed as received by someone from the photography exhibition to receive your artwork.
Setting up for the whole mushroom show takes a lot of work, so please try to make the delivery, installation,
and pickup as hassle-free as possible.
Awards: For 2015 we'll be giving out "people's-choice awards", voting will take place during the photo exhibition.
Pickup: You may retrieve your pictures on Sunday October 10th after 5 PM.
Note: Insurance for artwork is the responsibility of the artist, not PSMS. PSMS does not carry insurance for any
artwork at the show.

LOAN AGREEMENT -- CONDITIONS OF LOAN
ARTWORK
The Artwork shall be defined as matted and optionally framed photograph to be loaned to Puget Sound
Mycological Society (PSMS) by the Artist for the Photography Exhibition at the PSMS Wild Mushroom Show (the
Exhibition). The Artist must be the creator of the photograph.
VERIFICATION
The Artwork must be those specified in the Loan Agreement. PSMS reserves the right to not exhibit Artwork that
is not identified on the loan form and not labeled securely (e.g. on the back). The loan form must be amended to
reflect all the Artwork and only the Artwork for the exhibition.
POSSESSION
PSMS agrees not to loan or rent the Artwork to any other person, or otherwise fail to keep and retain control of
the Artwork at all times while said works are in the possession of PSMS. PSMS will take the greatest care in
handling all Artwork. The exhibition venue will be locked after hours with limited access to the art.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND REPRODUCTION
The Artist grants permission for the Artworks listed to be photographed for advertising and publicity purposes in
both electronic and print media in connection with this exhibition and grants to PSMS the right to produce
images of the work for educational and publicity purposes. Any photographs and reproductions shall be used
solely as permitted by Copyright Law. The Artist reserves and retains all other rights to the Artwork and must
give permission for any other permanent publication.
SHIPPING
While PSMS prefers in-person delivery, the Artists may ship pictures to the show. The Artist is responsible for
any shipping costs of Artwork to and from the Exhibition. Contact PSMS (see contact information above) to
make arrangements.
Any Artwork shipped to PSMS for the exhibition will be repacked for return to the Artist by the same methods as
received and must be prepaid by the artist.
INSURANCE
PSMS does not carry insurance on the submitted art. Insurance is the responsibility of the artist. Artwork value
cannot be determined by PSMS representatives.
SALES
PSMS retains a 10% commission on all Artwork sold at the exhibition. Artists will receive their proceeds from
sales within 30 days of sale.
