Endangered and Extinct Animals Presentation
You will be researching and creating a Google Presentation on one endangered animal and one extinct
animal. You will create one presentation for both animals. You must include at least two sources for
each animal and Wikipedia may not be used as a source. Also, the extinct animal must have gone
extinct within the past 100 years. For each animal you must include pictures of the animal along with
the following information.
1. Where in the world is/was this animal found? Include a map.
2. Describe the habitat of this animal. This includes the climate and types of plants found there.
What biome is it?
3. Describe the types of species interactions that this animal has/had. The types of interactions to
consider are predation, parasitism, competition, mutualism, and commensalism. What is the
impact (or what would the impact be) of this animal being gone?
4. What things caused this animal to be extinct/endangered and in what year did it go extinct or
was it listed as endangered?
At the end of your presentation, explain why you think saving species is important and what
strategies you think would work best to save species.
