LOCATION: E. COLFAX AVE AT N. ELIZABETH ST.

(ENTRANCE TO EAST HIGH SCHOOL)

On 02/27/13 at approximately 0707 hours, a JUVENILE pedestrian was crossing E Colfax Ave, at

N Elizabeth St from the south curb to the north in the crosswalk. While the juvenile was crossing

E Colfax Ave, a GRAY 4 door sedan, pictured above, that was traveling eastbound, failed to stop for the red light and hit the juvenile and then fled the scene. The suspect vehicle was last seen fleeing eastbound on E Colfax Ave. The suspect driver is described as a White or Hispanic female in her 20’s or 30’s with shoulder length red hair. As a result of this collision, the pedestrian was taken to Denver Health Medical Center and is currently in SICU in CRITICAL

CONDITION. The suspect vehicle will have damage to the right front bumper/quarter panel area.

Detectives with the Traffic Investigations Unit are asking for any witnesses to this collision and/ or witnesses that can assist in identifying the suspect vehicle and/or the suspect driver at the time of this collision to please call with any information.
