Dear Parent

This year we are again hoping to announce new classes for September by late
June/early July. Parents of children going into Y6 will be the first to hear as we are
already preparing these pupils for next year’s SATS. It will be their final year and
we are keen to maintain our high standards.

Reminder:
1. Next Week (Friday 19th) we are having our annual crazy obstacle course
challenge (including the water splash!!) – non uniform day – pupils can wear
anything! – remember some kids are a little nutty about water and love to be
absolutely drenched…..totally optional….towels and spare clothing must be
brought. Parents wishing their child not to get wet MUST contact their child’s
class teacher in writing – we don’t want any mistakes!!!! It is also Parent Pop
In all day… the timetable of when each year group is on the obstacle course will
be sent out shortly.
2. Saturday 20th June – Car Boot Sale.
3. Thursday 25th June – Annual Fun Quiz Night (no ex pupils 16 or under).

1. As you know we have many trips organised at our school as part of our Healthy
Bodies agenda. We are indebted to our friends at Monkey Bizness and Ennerdale
Sports Centre for the strong links we have developed with them. We also are very
fortunate to have our various dance and sports coaches helping during the week.
Our aim is to develop further a real interest with our kids of keeping fit, character
building and healthy bodies.
2. Last week Y4 Raywell trips were really fantastic – great team work, individual
endeavour and real character building. Well done kids.
