MANUFACTURING PRACTICES
A ‘glycerite’ medium consisting of glycerin and a complex poly-nano-colloidal mineral matrix, that is then oxygen enriched/laser
activated, results in a finished BTC™ ‘energetic blank.’ It’s a fluid complex that is ready to receive and lock-in complex vibrational
energy signatures via the proprietary BTC™ (Biologically Coherent Targeted) energy signature technology. A BTC™ energetic blank is
highly stable: withstands high heat, can pass through an airport X-ray without dumping the vibrational charge, does not require
repeated sucussing, no refrigeration after opening, etc… a first for a vibrational-based product.
Additionally, adding vibrational poly-charges (e.g. many singular charges into one energetic blank medium) increases the vibrational
formula to highly complex levels, possessing greater applicability for a higher percentage of the population. This means that we can
input more than just one vibrational charge into the energetic blank, creating versatility and enhancements that go beyond classical
homeopathic products.
The manufacturer of BTC™ energetic signatured products comport to the following standards as to their facility, operations and

HOW IT WORKS…HCG VIBRATION DROP FORMULA
Once the specially prepared glycerol base liquid is made into a BTC™ energetic blank, the process of adding vibrational ‘signature’
ingredient layers begins. First, the pharmaceutical Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG) product is BTC™ drawn off and
imbedded, as an energetic signature, into the energetic blank’s highly stable fluid matrix. Second, Pureodine™ processed
transformative nano-colloidal elemental iodine’s energy signature is drawn off and imbedded into this matrix. Third, Gymnema’s
botanical energy signature is drawn off and imbedded into this matrix. And finally, a proprietary liquid processed botanical blend
consisting of peppermint, hoodia, and an essential oils micro-blend for sugar craving, that the combined vibrational signature is
drawn of from and imbedded into the matrix including all the other imbedded vibrational signatures.
The dosage use of the finished product is now predicated on each individual’s own unique degree of bio-energetic resistance, more
simply called ‘energetic sensitivity,’ and utilized accordingly (e.g., the higher the resistance the higher the dosage, the lower the
resistance the lower the dosage).
The specially enhanced glycerite BTC™ energetic blank fluid matrix holds within its proprietary highly structured lattice structure the
vibrational signatures much better than other carrying mediums, including a longer maintenance of the signatures intrinsic integrity
for a much longer period of time under varying circumstances that would otherwise alter or mitigate other product’s energy
signatures. Additionally, a BTC™ energetic blank possesses the unique distinction of being able to hold a much more complex
number of vibrational frequencies than any other blank medium, and because of the unique stability of a BTC™ energetic blank,
previously incompatible energy frequencies can now be combined in a stable manner giving greater versatility and support to the
finished product.
Whereas, Glycerin (one of the main materials we are utilizing) holds to vibration and molecular micro-encapsulating properties
much better and as a carrying medium will hold the vibration much longer. Additionally, adding vibrational charges to a quantum
blank material only increases the product as long as the frequencies used are not mutually exclusive (IE a charge from a stimulating
material and another charge from a depressing material which have different wave forms that may not assist each other.) This
means that we can charge more than just one vibration to a blank material creating enhancements beyond a basic homeopathic
product.
INGREDIENT NOTES
Gymnema is a type of tropical plant native to rain forests in India and parts of Africa. Sometimes called miracle plant or Periploca
sylvestris, the leaves of the gymnema plant are a remedy prescribed by herbal practitioners for a number of conditions.

Herbal practitioners believe that gymnema leaf contains substances that increase insulin levels and help regenerate cells
in your pancreas as well as limit the amount of sugar and other substances absorbed by your stomach.

Herbal practitioners use gymnema leaf for the treatment of diabetes, metabolic syndrome, malaria, coughing and snake
bites, according to RxList. In some cases, herbalists use the leaves for weight loss or as a laxative or diuretic.
Evidence

A 2009 study at Holy Cross College in Tamil Nadu, India published in the journal "Phytomedicine" found that gymnema
leaf was effective at lowering both blood sugar and levels of lipids or fats in the bloodstream of laboratory rats.
Iodine is an integral and essential part of healthy DNA integrity (both developmentally and throughout life), immunity, metabolic
balance, endocrine function and cardiovascular health. Fact is, there is an 'iodine deficiency' crisis! Over 50% of the population is
either deficient in iodine and/or shows subtle to profound symptoms of iodine/thyroid related deficiencies. Proper iodine enriched
thyroid and healthy tissue levels of iodine throughout the body are a major protective factor against immune incursions, the effects
of environmental contaminants and rising levels of planetary-based radiation pollution.

Sensible eating with exercise

Taking the HCG Drops Adults, regardless of weight, take 10 drops, 3 times a day, 30 minutes before breakfast, lunch and
dinner. For children 4-12 years of age, the dosage is 5 drops, 3 times per day. Hold the drops under your tongue for at least two
minutes before swallowing. The veins under the tongue absorb the Vibration HCG directly into the bloodstream allowing it to go
to work immediately. It is very important to avoid eating anything prior to taking the drops.

Storing the HCG Drops Drops must be kept in cool, dark place. It is not necessary to refrigerate. However, if an opened bottle is
not going to be used for an extended period of time, refrigeration will prolong its potency. An opened bottle has a shelf life of
approximately six months. An unopened bottle has a shelf life of many years.

Drink LOTS of purified water! You MUST drink at least ten 8 ounce glasses per day.
Phase I—Fat Loading WITH HCG Drops (3 days)
If Phase I were to have a motto, it would be “Eat, Drink, and Be Merry.” During the first three days of the diet, while taking the HCG
drops, you need to eat as much high-calorie, high-fat foods as you can tolerate, without making yourself sick. Spread your eating
throughout the entire day. (See below for a list of foods containing high fat/calories.)
Your goal is to literally load fat into your system! We realize this is probably the first time you’ve heard a diet program recommend
all-you-can-eat gorging. But, despite how contrary to common sense this may seem, it is absolutely necessary if you are to maximize
your weight loss on this program or protocol.
Why is it so important? Because it jump starts your metabolism. In a sense, it puts your fat-burning metabolism into high gear. It also
builds up your energy reserves by ensuring that your body’s normal fat reserves are well stocked. You may feel you can skip this
process, but if you do, your weight loss will be slower and the Restricted Calorie part of the diet (Phases II & III) will be more difficult
for you to endure.
Perhaps you’re worried you’ll put on extra weight that will be hard to get rid of, but it has been our experience that any weight that
may have been gained in this fat loading process is lost within two days of the Restricted Calorie part of the diet.

Phase II—The Restricted Calorie Diet with HCG Drops (20 days)
This is where you apply the brakes to Phase I—the “Mardi Gras,” anything goes food-fest ends now! For the next 20 to 40 days it is
critical that you strictly follow the Restricted Calorie diet protocol. While still taking the HCG drops 3 times daily, you are now going
to cut your calories to 500 per day, with very specific food choices. (See the list of approved foods for the Phase II Restricted Calorie
diet on page 3.)
It is important to pick an eating schedule that works for you and stick to it. Make every effort to eat at the same time each day and
keep to that routine until you have completed this phase of the diet. (Please see the Helpful Hints for Reduced Calorie Diet Success
on page 9.)
The number of days you stay on the Restricted Diet is determined by the total amount of weight loss desired, and how the weight
loss process is proceeding. If it looks as if you will be on the diet for the 40-day schedule, skip the drops one day a week so that you
are only consuming the drops six days a week. Because the body builds immunity to the HCG, skipping a day helps prevent the
immunity and aids in quicker fat reduction.
The actual diet is further defined as follows:
BREAKFAST:
Any zero-calorie allowed fluids in any amount. Water, mineral water, and natural sparkling water. Coffee, tea,
and herbal teas are allowed as long as no sugar or artificial sweetener is used. Only one teaspoon of milk is
allowed per day.
NOTE: 1 serving of fruit may be eaten for breakfast instead of at lunch. Just be sure to space the fruit servings 6
hours apart.
LUNCH:
1 low-fat protein serving (3-1/2 ounce portion), 1 vegetable serving (3-1/2 ounce), 1 serving of fruit (1 apple, or 6
strawberries, or 1 orange, ½ large/1small grapefruit, or 1/8 cantaloupe), and 1 Melba toast/Grissini Breadstick.
250 calories total.
DINNER:
Same as lunch, but choose a different protein. 250 calories total.
SNACKS:
If you desire, you may eat a fruit serving and/or piece of Melba toast/Grissini Breadstick between your meals
instead of (not in addition to) with your lunch and/or dinner meal. However, the allowed two portions of fruit
should be consumed 6 hours or more apart.
Important It is very important to have an accurate food or postal scale. For optimum results it is critical that food serving sizes not
exceed the allowable weight. We recommend a postal scale for greatest accuracy. You can also use a good food scale that will
accurately measure 3.5 ounces (100 grams). Scales providing metric readings in grams generally deliver better accuracy.
Calorie Content of the HCG Diet Foods
There are many websites that give you calorie amounts of the foods you eat such as The Calorie Counter website
(http://www.thecaloriecounter.com). If you can’t find the calories on the web, check the package for calculations whenever
possible. Always remember to record what you eat in a food journal every day. If either your calorie count for snacks/lunch or
snacks/dinner does not meet the 250 calorie amount, you can ad an additional food from the approved list to equal the 250 calories.
For example, as you refer to The Calorie Counter website, you will see that fish often has lower calorie counts than other protein
choices, so accommodations may need to be made to meet the 250 calorie requirement.
Phase III— Restricted Calorie Diet WITHOUT HCG Drops (3 days)
You may conclude the diet when you have finished the number of Restricted Calorie Diet days you have chosen to do, which will be
a minimum of 20 days, or up to a maximum of 40 days. The diet can be ended as follows.

At the conclusion of Phase II (Restricted Calorie Diet with HCG drop usage), you MUST weigh yourself first thing in the morning.
Generally, this will be the lowest weight you have achieved during the program. Weigh without clothing and after having used the
restroom. If you have not been recording your weight daily, you must record your weight on this day in the table provided on the
next page. Your weight on this particular day becomes your Reference Weight for Phase V, or the Maintenance phase of the diet.
For the next 3 days, you will stop taking the HCG drops altogether but continue the Restricted Calorie Diet as usual. You do this so
the HCG can be cleared from your system before re-introducing foods containing more fat back into your diet. This is an important
part of the process. Please resist the temptation to simply go back to your usual eating patterns as soon as you stop taking the
drops.
GETTING STARTED
 Important! Weigh yourself daily Throughout the length of the program, you must weigh yourself every morning as soon as you
get up, after using the restroom, and before drinking or eating anything. To get the most accurate weight, use an accurate body
fat monitoring scale, and weigh without clothing. Record your results in the chart below.

 If you plateau for three consecutive days during Phase II, although not required, you may choose to implement an Apple Day—
eat a maximum of six apples, spread throughout the day. This will usually jump start your weight loss.
 At the end of Phase II, it is critical that you weigh yourself and record your weight the following morning. This weight becomes
your Reference Weight for use with Phase V later on. Normally, this Reference Weight will be the lowest weight achieved during
the Restricted Calorie phase of the diet.
 Take your measurements weekly At the start of the diet, and at least weekly thereafter, record your body measurements using
the chart below. Use a cloth or plastic flexible tape like those commonly used for sewing, sold in fabric stores. You may record and
monitor as many different body locations as desired, but at a minimum your measurements should include the following:
o Chest circumference measured at the largest measurement point around the chest
o Waist circumference measured at the level of the navel
o Hips circumference at the largest measurement point around the hips
o Left and right bicep measurements, at maximum circumference
o Left and right thigh measurements, taken in the middle of the thigh
o Left and right calf measurements, at the middle of the calf muscle
Take the measurements at the same location each time and with the same tension on the tape.

THE RESTRICTED CALORIE DIET IN GREATER DETAIL
Food Options for the Restricted Calorie Diet
Kevin Trudeau, in his book The Weight Loss Cure “They” Don’t Want You to Know About, suggests strictly organic foods be chosen,
however, it is our experience that people have met their weight loss goals without choosing organic.
NOTE: This diet is vey specific and is based upon Dr. Simeons’ protocol. Any variation to his protocol has the potential of negatively
affecting your potential weight loss. We therefore suggest that you mentally prepare yourself to strictly adhere to the proposed diet
as closely as possible, especially when doing it for the first time. Remember, you can do anything for a minimum of days. And seeing
the dramatic results as you progress will strengthen your resolve.
Protein Foods One lOO gram (3-1/2 ounce) portion twice daily (lunch and dinner) of allowed meat. Meat portions are to be weighed
raw. Select only very lean meats. Allowed meats include:









Low-fat veal or steak, no marbling (free range is best if available)
Fresh white fish, including halibut, cod, flounder, monkfish, perch, pike, pollock, snapper, sole, whiting, crab meat, lobster,
shrimp, or scallops. NO Salmon, eel, tuna fish, herring, sardines or dried, pickled, or smoked fish are allowed on the diet.
Chicken breast meat only. Breast meat is to be boneless and skinless, prior to cooking.
All skin and visible fat must be removed before cooking.
All meat is to be removed from the bone prior to cooking.
No microwaving.
Because this diet originated in Italy, and because the fat content of beef raised in the US is typically much higher than that
of beef raised in Europe, it is suggested that you limit beef consumption to no more than one of the two permissible 100
gram servings of meat allowed in any given day if you are in the U.S.
The Simeon protocol does allow, very occasionally, an egg—boiled, poached or raw—for those who develop an aversion to
meat. However, the yolk contains a lot of fat. So you must add the white of three eggs to the one egg you eat whole (white
+ yolk). Also, 3.5 oz. of cottage cheese made with skimmed milk can be occasionally substituted for a meat portion. No
other cheeses are allowed.
Meats not allowed: Salmon, trout, eel, tuna, herring, sardines, and dried, pickled or smoked fish are not allowed. No
chicken thigh, leg or wing. Also, other fowl such as duck, goose, pheasant, etc. are not allowed.

NOTE: Protein must be cooked without additional fats or oils. Baking, poaching, grilling or steaming is all acceptable. BBQ
grill is great for cooking because it requires no oil. (We found the George Foreman Grill to be very convenient as it has a
non-stick surface, and is designed such that any fat runs off into a tray to be discarded.)
Fresh Vegetables One 100 gram (3-1/2 ounce) serving, which is equal to one large snowball handful, of any one single allowed
vegetable consumed twice daily, (lunch and dinner). Fresh refers to non-canned products.




Allowed vegetables include: Spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, lettuce, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes,
cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini and red or green peppers.
It is suggested that you not combine or mix vegetables. Select one vegetable choice per serving.
Vegetables not allowed: NO pumpkin, beetroot, potatoes, carrots, peas or corn are allowed on the diet.
NOTE: If your digestive system works well, eating your vegetables raw is preferred and will deliver superior nutritional
value. However, if the consumption of raw vegetables causes you to experience indigestion in any form, including gas buildup or bloating, it is recommended and preferable to cook your vegetables, steaming them lightly.
Fruit 2 servings per day, ideally consumed at least 6 hours apart. A serving consists of:







1 apple (any size)
6 large strawberries
1 orange
1 small, or ½ large grapefruit
1/8 cantaloupe (if can’t tolerate citrus well)
Fruit not allowed It is critical that fruits be limited to the varieties and serving sizes given. Other fruits not listed are not
allowed and can be very disruptive to the weight loss process. Also please note that 2 small apples are not equal in calories
to 1 larger apple. You may eat as large an apple as you desire, but only one apple per meal or as a snack.
Remember, you can choose to eat your fruit as a snack, rather than with your lunch or dinner.
Melba Toast/Grissini Breadstick Up to 2 pieces of Melba toast or 2 Grissini Breadsticks are allowed per day, either as a snack
between meals or 1 with lunch and 1 with dinner. The smaller Melba rounds can also be used. Two rounds are equivalent to one
rectangular piece. We found the Melba Toast and Grissini Sticks at most grocery stores and also at Wal-Mart.
 Starches not allowed: Traditional breads, pastries, and crackers are strictly prohibited during the Restricted Calorie phase
of the diet.
Fluids It is absolutely mandatory that you drink at least 2 liters (ten 8-ounce glasses) of water daily for the entire duration of the diet
program. It is best to spread water consumption out throughout the entire day. It is more effective to drink smaller amounts more
frequently than to drink large quantities less frequently.



Allowed drinks include unsweetened coffee, tea or herbal teas; natural sparking water or mineral water.
Ideally, divide your body weight in pounds by 2, and drink at least that many ounces of pure water daily.
Caffeine should be avoided.
Nutritional Supplements Although the diet as outlined provides the bulk of vitamins and minerals you need to sustain ideal health,
it is still recommended that you take a good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement daily to insure that no deficiency occurs. Make sure
that the vitamins/minerals do not contain oil, for example fish oil.
Also one notable exception is potassium. It is important that you add additional potassium to your daily food intake. Take a
potassium supplement daily. Choose a quality product from any reputable supplement manufacturer. A typical daily dose would be
one capsule daily of the maximum dosage allowed without a prescription which is 99 milligrams.
Another option to consider would be to utilize a combination potassium and magnesium product. This can often be a good choice
because the HCG diet of 500 calories per day does not provide much bulk, so there tends to be a reduction in frequency and size of
bowel movements. The addition of magnesium as a supplement will serve to stimulate regular bowel movements.
Little Extras
 Milk Only one tablespoon of milk is allowed daily (typically desired by coffee drinkers).
 Absolutely NO SUGAR
 NO artificial sweeteners (Stevia, a natural sweetener, or Xylotol, are great options.)

Seasonings Sea salt, pepper, raw apple cider vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, and
other spices such as Mrs. Dash may be used as seasonings, as desired. Fresh-squeezed lemon juice and sea salt are great on
lettuce and raw vegetables. No regular salt allowed.
Oils NO margarine, butter, cooking oils, or salad dressings are to be used.
Lemon If desired, you may add the juice of 1 lemon daily (typically added to food or drinks).
NO high-fructose corn syrup
NO carbonation
NO foods containing fat-soluble vitamins (fish oil, vitamin D, etc.).

Recommended Timing of Meals Ideally, lunch should be eaten at about noon, and dinner at about 6 PM. For optimum results,
dinner should not be eaten later than 7 PM.
Allowable Variations If you tend to get hungry or sense an emotional desire to snack between meals, you may eat a fruit serving
and/or toast serving between meals instead of with lunch and dinner as long as the two servings of fruit are consumed at least 6
hours apart.
Unallowable Variation You are not permitted to save food items to eat later. Regardless of what you may not have consumed
earlier, you are not allowed to consume more than 4 items at any one meal. The 4 items include at the most, lOO grams of lean
meat, 100 grams of a single allowed vegetable, I fruit serving and I slice of Melba Toast or Grissini Breadstick. If you choose not to
eat the fruit with your lunch meal, you may eat it between lunch and dinner but may not add it to your dinner, as that would bring
the total number of items consumed up to 5 instead of 4 in that dinner meal.
Face Lotions, Cleansers & Cosmetics Only oil-free lotions, cleansers and cosmetics are allowed during the Restricted Calorie phase
of the diet. Just as oils are not allowed for cooking your food because they interfere with the weight loss process, so oils absorbed
from the skin can also reduce the diet’s effectiveness. Look at all of your cosmetics, lotions, soaps, etc. and make sure none of them
list in their ingredients an oil, anything that ends in –ose, a fruit or a starch. If they do, you CANNOT use them during the 500-calorie
phase of the diet. Ladies, I strongly suggest you not use a liquid foundation. Try something like Bare Essentials or other more natural
make-up lines. Just remember, it’s only about a month. A list of oil-free products can be provided upon request.
What If I Stop Losing Weight
Apple Day In the rare case that a plateau lasts for more than 4 or 5 days, you may choose to eliminate any retained fluid by
participating in what is called an "Apple Day." An Apple Day consists of eating up to a maximum of six apples, spread throughout the
day. This will usually jump start your weight loss.
Be sure to also check your cosmetics and toiletries to ensure they are oil-free.
Things such as breath mints, cough drops etc. can often be overlooked when they are full of sugar or high in calories.
Helpful Hints for Restricted Calorie Diet Success
A huge part of the success of this diet is preparedness. Your eating in the coming weeks needs to be near effortless and without
much thought. If you’re not prepared, you’re more likely to break the diet. I strongly suggest the day before you start Phase II, that
you purchase all the meat, greens, and Grissini Breadsticks/Melba Toast for one week. Divide the meat into 3.5 oz. (100 gram)
portions and freeze in individual Ziploc bags. Continue this advance planning throughout Phase II.
I tried to cook two days’ worth of meat at a time, so I didn’t have to cook the next day. I liked cooking on the barbeque, using sea
salt, garlic and onion powder. Use spices generously on your food and be sure to cook a variety of meat so you have plenty of choice
to help keep it as interesting as possible. The 500-calorie portion of the diet can get very monotonous, so spice it up, and mix it up,
where you can.
I would also suggest that you make up an extra large salad that you can use for a couple of days. A metal bowl covered with foil
seems to encourage freshness.

Another trick that helped me tremendously was to pack ALL my food for the day and my bottle of drops in a vinyl insulated lunchbox
with a gel freezer pack. Carry this with you throughout the day so that no matter where you are, you can have your food with you
and eat on schedule. If you don’t carry your food with you, it will be very difficult to find a restaurant that can provide a 3.5 oz
protein that is cooked without oils or fats.
It’s also helpful to do the diet with someone else, thereby encouraging each other along the process.
A Sample Restricted Calorie Diet Day
This is intended to simply give you an idea of what a typical Restricted Calorie Diet day might look like. I found my best results came
from eating every two hours. This is how I did it. You may choose to follow the outline on page 5.
7:00 AM
Start your day by using the bathroom. Do not eat or drink anything.
Weigh without clothing and record the weight
Bathing/getting ready routine
7:30 AM
Take HCG, placing and retaining 10 drops under tongue for 2 minutes before swallowing
Exercise if desired. (For maximum weight loss, 30 minutes of light to moderate aerobic exercise is ideal)
8:00 AM
By now a minimum of 30 minutes should have passed since taking the HCG, so you are free to drink your noncaloric beverages for breakfast and eat 1 fruit serving (if you choose not to eat your fruit with lunch)
10:00 AM.
Melba toast or a Grissini Breadstick as a snack (if you choose to not eat it with lunch)
Continue drinking plenty of water as the morning progresses
11:30 AM
Take your second 10-drop dose of HCG under the tongue. Remember to hold for 2 minutes before swallowing
12:00 Noon
Lunch consisting of 1 protein serving, and 1 vegetable serving.
Take a multi-vitamin and mineral supplement with your meal
Continue drinking water throughout the day
2:00 PM
Melba toast or a Grissini Breadstick as a snack (if you choose not to eat it with dinner)
4:00 PM
1 fruit serving, paying attention to allow at least 6 hours between fruit servings (if you choose not to eat your fruit
with dinner)
5:30 PM
Take your third dose of HCG drops
6:00 PM
Dinner consisting of 1 protein serving and 1 vegetable serving. Choose a different protein than lunch.
Continue drinking water throughout the evening
10:00 PM
Before going to bed, take potassium or potassium/magnesium combination supplement. The foods in this portion
of the diet don’t contain enough potassium to maintain optimal nutrition. The benefit of magnesium is that it will
help with regular bowel movements and also to enhance sleep
Deciding How Long to Stay on the Restricted Calorie Diet
You can choose to go up to 40 days on a round of the Restricted Calorie diet. The minimum duration is 23 days, and any length up to
40 days is the maximum. But based upon our experience, it is much more manageable, and often more likely you’ll successfully
complete the course, if you do the minimum 23-day regimen. Forty days can be much more challenging—not impossible, but
emotionally and physically demanding. Burnout and monotony can get the best of you. If you want to lose more than 34 pounds, we
would recommend taking a second, 23-day course, after a six-week break. But ultimately, it is your choice.
If you achieve your target weight before the 20 th day of the Restricted Calorie Diet with HCG Drops, you should continue taking the
drops through the 20th day. However, you should increase your calories to halt the weight loss. You could accomplish this by adding
two whole eggs in the morning for breakfast, and eating double portions of your proteins and greens for lunch and dinner. And then
monitor yourself by weighing daily, and make adjustments as needed.

The Maintenance Phase in Greater Detail
After you have stopped taking the HCG drops, while maintaining the 500 calorie diet for 3 days (Phase III), you are ready to move
into the Maintenance phases, Phase IV and Phase V. The purpose of the Maintenance phases is to allow your body to stabilize to
your new weight while moving to a more varied diet. To do this, you must gradually add a variety of new foods into your diet.
HCG Diet Phase IV—“Watch What You Eat” Diet (21 days)
Phase IV, or the “Watch What You Eat” diet, is probably the most critical portion of the diet since it is during this phase that your
body will re-set how it metabolizes what you eat. About 10 days into the 21 days of this phase, I felt a very real change occur. My
energy level went through the roof. I was requiring less sleep and had more energy than I can remember having for decades.
During this phase you can go back to somewhat normal, or sensible eating, carefully adding in a variety of health-promoting foods
while limiting sugars, and avoiding starch and fat. You do not need to keep count of calories. Eat until satisfied, while eating the right
foods. You may once again cook with oils and eat salad dressings containing oil. Olive oil is a healthy option. We also recommend
incorporating health-promoting essential fats, specifically the Omega 3 and Omega 6 fats.
Many dieters are fearful to add any new foods to the diet. This is counter productive. During the Restricted Calorie diet, your
metabolism goes very low. To prevent regaining all your weight, you have to introduce health-promoting normal foods back into
your diet, which will in turn increase your metabolism. The more healthy foods you eat, the better results you will have in resetting
your metabolism and stabilizing your new weight.
HCG Diet Phase V—“Any Food in Moderation” Maintenance Diet (Ongoing)
After 3 weeks of carefully monitoring what you eat and learning from your mistakes, you are ready to move on to Phase V, the
Maintenance phase. The rules for the maintenance phase will last for the rest of your life. You are allowed to eat any food you
choose as long as you maintain your weight loss. However, you must continue to weigh yourself every morning.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU START GAINING WEIGHT
If your morning weight exceeds your Reference Weight (the weight recorded at the end of Phase II) by two pounds or more,
immediately begin the Steak Day protocol. You must not postpone this, even for one day!
Steak Day: On a Steak Day you do not eat breakfast, snacks, or lunch. You fast, with the exception of drinking lots of water, until
dinner. For dinner you eat a large, lean steak with either one raw tomato or one apple, not both. This should result in your returning
to your Reference Weight the next morning.
This is a good learning opportunity to look back on what you ate the day previous and try to determine what it was the caused the
weight fluctuation. Then make modifications to your diet as necessary. You will probably have to do several Steak Days. But as you
become more aware of your weight-gain foods, control your portions and make more health-promoting choices your need for Steak
Days will decrease. The ultimate goal is to develop a lifestyle of healthy eating and exercise that meets both your physical and
emotional needs, while allowing you to maintain your target weight.
PERSONAL TIPS FOR MAINTENANCE SUCCESS
My experience on this phase of the diet is to eat all I want of lean protein; all the salad, veggies and fruits I want; and whole grains in
moderation. I made a decision that since I was able to go nearly two months on a modified diet, there were certain addictions I
would not put back in my life—soda pop and highly sugared cold cereals. I also avoid desserts, candy and all highly sugared foods,
potatoes, fast food burgers and fries—the really high-fat and starchy foods. I found, however; after slipping back into eating some of
my favorite sugary foods, my energy started to wane and I felt tired again.
The HCG diet process has taught me how my body reacts to certain foods. I now know, to feel my best, I have to avoid foods with
high sugar content. I have also changed the bread I eat. Highly processed white bread has the same effect on me as eating a candy
bar. About 20-30 minutes after consuming it, I feel like I need a nap. Everybody is going to be different. My body will react to
certain things differently than yours. You will be better in tune with your body after completing this diet and you will know what
works for you and what doesn’t. You then can make adjustments to your everyday diet that will help instead of hinder you.

Let me give you an example of how I put this knowledge about myself and my body into practice. I knew I would need a freebie day,
so I picked Sunday—since we have a great meal and dessert—as a day to throw all caution to the wind. I eat what I want and
however much I want. Since I don’t have to work that day and it is usually a lazy day around the house with family, the resulting
fatigue is not such an issue. The other days of the week, I watch what I eat and try to be sensible.
Don’t be fooled by all the media hype about HCG. The fact still remains that if you put more calories in than you expend, you’re
going to eventually regain your weight. So choose your foods wisely, incorporate exercise into your routine and limit the highly
processed carbs and starches.
Losing 60 pounds on the HCG diet and then being able to maintain my weight has helped my self esteem and has empowered me. I
feel like I can do anything. One thing I can attest to is that life is a lot easier skinny!!
