Planned for the opening of a new freestanding rehabilitation hospital nutrition services department, established all processes
within the hospital relating to food and nutrition. Provided medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to patients; implemented MNT order
writing protocol; implemented, maintained and modified a solid nutrition surveillance program to quickly identify patients not
meeting their nutrition needs – developed policies and procedures, established high level of staff competency, empowered
nutrition staff to work in an interdisciplinary manner to effectively meet the needs of patients.
