Class Descriptions & Pricing
Aqua Exercise Group: 1 hour – Gentle water exercise class for all. $10 per class plus $4.50 pool entry.
Core4Men/Core4Women: 1 hour - Functional strengthening and cardiovascular training allowing easier
everyday movement. Same pricing as Pilates.
Diabetes Nutrition Education Class: ½ hour – This is an education class designed for people with Type 2
Diabetes, for those wanting to lose weight or improve their nutrition knowledge.
Gentle Circuit Class: ½ hour - Is a class suitable for individuals who are diabetic, have been diagnosed with
a heart condition or who want to improve their fitness and strength. The class is low impact and focuses on
improving cardiovascular fitness, increasing muscular strength, improving balance and co-ordination as well
as bringing attention to weight loss. $10 per session
Gentle Water Exercise Class: 1 hour – A low impact aerobic and strength class held in a waist deep warm
pool. A perfect class for people who have Arthritis, are trying to lose weight, managing a back injury or just
starting out into exercise. Held at Maclean Hospital Hydrotherapy Pool $15 per session. Medicare rebates are
available
Hydrotherapy: Physiotherapy treatment and exercise in warm water. Held at Maclean Hospital Hydrotherapy
Pool.Great for pain relief and getting your joints moving especially post surgery or post injury.
First 2 sessions $60 each then ongoing classes $15 each
Kids Stability: 1 hour - For Kids only, this class is designed to help your kids improve their muscle (core)
control and body awareness which in turn will assist with injury prevention and sports performance.They will
also improve their posture which means less pain, headaches and better concentration at school. Same
pricing as Pilates.
Mums and Bubs : 1 hour – A welcoming environment where you can exercise with your baby, meet other
mums and regain your pre-pregnancy fitness. Classes are run by a physiotherapist with additional training in
Women’s Health and are composed of a variety of cardiovascular, strengthening and Pilates based exercises.
Same pricing as Pilates.
Pilates: 1 hour - Pilates helps build flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms,
hips, and back. It puts emphasis on body alignment, improving coordination and balance, breathing, and
developing a strong core or powerhouse. Our Pilates classes are modified to suit all levels, beginners to
advanced. Pilates reformer sessions are available by appointment.

Preglates™ : 1 hour – Preglates classes are based on traditional pilates exercises and other contemporary
physiotherapy approaches to strengthening, posture and preparation for childbirth. Preglates is suitable
throughout all stages of pregnancy and the postnatal period from 6 weeks postpartum. Same pricing as
Pilates.
Still Standing: ½ hour - This class focuses on just that; to keep you still standing and on the move. A class
designed for the older adult to improve balance, coordination, strength and flexibility. This class is low
intensity. $10 per session
Yoga: 1 hour - Yoga increases health and well-being (physical, emotional, mental and social) through
postures and movement, breath awareness and breathing exercises and meditation. A great balance to your
weekly exercise routine, with a good stretch. Same pricing as Pilates.
