To all 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Parents,
On Thursday and Friday all middle school science classes will be working on their display boards for the Science Fair. Please send your student to school with an empty display board and all materials they wish to attach. If you are having problems printing items please send them to school with a flash drive so we can print them in class. Students who are ahead of schedule and have already completed their boards will be allotted time to continue to work on
Research Papers. The plan is to get as much done in class as possible to ensure great looking projects. I have some glue sticks, markers, and crayons. We are in need of stencils and any other art supplies such as precut letters, glue and markers, donations are greatly appreciated.

6 th Grade Math/Science
Monday: Today for math we completed Section 4.2 “Write Out Expressions.” The students were assigned homework.
Tuesday: Graphs Graphs Graphs. We worked in the computer lab graphing our results from the Science Fair.
Wednesday: We have no class due to Catholic Schools Week. Student
Appreciation Day. No Homework will be assigned.
Thursday: We are going to work the entire period on our Science Fair Display
Boards.
Friday: We are going to work on our display boards for the Science Fair.
7 th Grade Math/Science
Monday: Today we completed Section 5.5 “Solving Multiple Step Equations.”
Homework was assigned.
Tuesday: We worked with our 2 nd Grade Buddies. We examined slides under the microscopes and created Field of View Sketches accompanied with
Qualitative/Quantitative Observations.
Wednesday: We have no class due to Catholic Schools Week. Student
Appreciation Day. No Homework will be assigned.

8 th Grade Math/Science
Monday: Today we completed Section 5.3 “Graphing on the Coordinate Plane.” We are starting Linear Equations now so happy some of my favorite concepts.
Homework was assigned.
Tuesday: We completed section 5.4 “X and Y Intercepts.” Homework was assigned.
Wednesday: We have no class due to Catholic Schools Week. Student
Appreciation Day. No Homework will be assigned.
