Choice Boards Mary Kate Duffy and Kelsey Leadbetter What is it? A choice board is a graphic organizer that has multiple options for projects or assignments. The students can choose which ones they want to complete. It can be set up like a game, where the students must complete one assignment before moving onto the next. Differentiation Choice boards promote differentiated learning by giving the students more options and allowing them to choose the type of activity that best fits their learning style. How Does It Work? Choice boards contain many different activities and can tailored to the individual student. It’s a fun way to keep them actively engaged and it makes them feel like they’re in control of their learning.
