You will be graded through teacher evaluations. - 4th Period: Because 3rd period has an emphasis on liaisons, 4th period will have an emphasis on Marketing. Each student MUST paint at least one sign per week. Students will be responsible for hanging up signs and taking them down when they are dated. - Everyone will participate in the recycling program at least once. Students will be responsible for recycling school-wide and classroom bins for two weeks. - The ASB officers will put together a collective binder with evaluations from each event that leadership organizes this year. Commissions must complete an evaluation after each event with an account of the planning process, the actual event, the results/student feedback, tips for making next year better, and a budget. Grading Policy – a point is a point - Calendar Log: Each student will complete a monthly calendar with all schoolwide events worth different amounts of points. There will be opportunities to receive extra credit if you are busier one month than another. o Weekly Participation Points: Students can earn 25 points per week during the leadership class by participating in commission activities and spirit days, creating new events, or helping other commissions. 5 points will be awarded to students who are constantly productive, positive, and setting a good example for others. o If students wish to argue for weekly grades, they must keep a written list of what they accomplished during class each day. o Note: We understand that leadership can be used as a class for time management with homework from other classes, but outside work should not affect your leadership work and should only be done during class sporadically. - Liaison/Marketing: Each student will be graded out of 25 points for their respective jobs. 3rd period will be graded on timeliness, preparedness, speaking, charm, and attendance. 4th period will be graded on artistic appeal, effectiveness, neatness, and clean up. - Each student will also be individually graded by the teacher on general participation, productiveness, attitude, etc.
