DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS/MARKETING
ONLINE COLLEGE
DESCRIPTION:
Is responsible for acquiring and enrolling qualified students for the College. This is
accomplished through managing the admissions process and directing the admissions
team in candidate prospecting, managing inquiries, as well as monitoring and revising the
admissions process. The Director of Admissions/Marketing is responsible for developing
and maintaining a marketing plan that promotes the growth of the Online College. The
Director oversees all marketing, advertising and promotional activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Acts as contact for prospective students seeking information for admissions and
performs follow-up to inquiries by phone and/or emails.
2. Assures all data entry, applications and forms associated with the enrollment are
processed accurately and timely.
3. Consults with the Dean of Online Learning to develop, implement, and then manage
and track the College's lead generating system.
4. Develops and distributes marketing materials that promote the growth of the Online
College.
5. Recommends staff development and training to the Dean of Online Learning.
6. Oversees the College's electronic marketing efforts including supervision of Web site
design and maintenance.
7. Facilitates new client development through marketing and student services programs.
8. Designs, implements, and facilitates annual marketing plan for the College.
9. Collaborates with the Dean of Online Learning to recruit and train new Admissions
Representatives.
10. Supervises Admissions/Marketing staff. Provides feedback, and conducts
performance evaluations in a timely, effective manner that is consistent with the College's
plan for performance management.
11. Manages the departmental budget.
12. Performs other responsibilities as assigned by the Dean of Online Learning.
REPORTS TO:
1. Dean of Online Learning
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. College degree with a concentration in Marketing or Business Development
preferred.
2. Five years of managerial level experience in recruitment, admissions, or academic
advising required
3. Demonstrated knowledge of online learning.
4. Accurate reporting skills and attention to detail.
5. Demonstrated knowledge and previous experience developing marketing plans and
advertisement initiatives.
