No believer has an “average” salvation story. It took the same
miracle of grace to bring each of us to life in Christ.
Prayers and Praises
Sheri Hoekstra continues to reside at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam
for the time being. She is getting stronger, but continues to have pain,
and plans to be there for at least the next week. Please continue to
pray for Sheri to heal, and for her, Glen, and their family to have their
spirits lifted.

From the Deacons:
As you have probably already noticed, we have taken a couple extra
building fund offerings in the last couple months. This has been to
help offset the parking lot seal-coating. The total project cost would
have been $5860, but the sealing contractor made a substantial
donation and lowered our cost to $3540. So far we have raised a little
over $2000, leaving us with a little less than $1500 to go on this
project. This notice is simply to let you know where we are at on this
project and that we will take one more extra building fund offering
next Sunday, October 18. Thank you for your faithful giving.
“And on this rock I will build my church.”

RCS:
Randolph Christian School is getting ready to make their delicious
apple pies. This is one of their major fundraisers of the year and helps
tremendously in supporting Randolph Christian’s purpose of offering
Christian Education. Part of what makes this such a great fundraiser is
that much of the cost is offset by sponsor donations, whether of food
product or funds. If you appreciate what’s happening at RCS, and
would like to help offset the cost of making the apple pies, you can
either contact Marin Medema at 326-3238 or the school office at 3263320. We will be making the pies October 21-23, with delivery on
October 24.
