The project has supported the development of a range of lesson plans and activities to support young people in learning about their local built heritage. These learning activities were piloted through direct work with more than 170 pupils over a two-year period at ASN, Primary and Secondary schools across Scotland. The exhibition showcases work made by the pupils and also features documentary videos, photographs and an interactive learning activity that exhibition visitors can take part in. Also associated to the My Place Photography Learning Project is an exhibition by Canadian artist Sylvia Grace Borda, whose series ‘A Holiday in Glenrothes’ was the inspiration for a range of creative learning activities for pupils studying photography at higher level.
