The document to which this cover statement is attached is submitted to a Formulating Group or
sub-element thereof of the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) in accordance with the
provisions of Sections 6.4.1–6.4.6 inclusive of the TIA Engineering Manual dated October 2009, all
of which provisions are hereby incorporated by reference.
Abstract
This contribution provides a review of TIA-968-B for references of TSB-31-C and TSB-129-A. The
references to TSB-31-C will need to be changed the TSB-31-D and references to TSB-129-A will need to
be changed to TSB-129-B.

There are 12 instances of TSB-31-C being referenced in TIA-968-B, however there are no clauses of
TSB-31-C being referenced in TIA-968-B. The references to TSB-31-C are on the following pages of
TIA-968-B:
90, 95, 101, 104, 115, 121, 126, 130, 134, 136, 157 & 182.
On page 182, C.9 has the following informative reference to TSB-31-C:
TIA TSB-31-C (2008), Rationale and Measurement Guidelines for U.S. Network Protection.
Will need to be replace with the following:
TIA TSB-31-D (2011), Rationale and Measurement Guidelines for U.S. Network Protection.
Also on page 182, C.10 has the following informative reference:
TIA TSB-129-A, U.S. Network Connections Regulatory Approval Guide, June 2002,
and its Addendum 1, TSB-129-A-1, April 2003, are both available from links at the Web page of
