PTFA meeting minutes Tuesday 9th June 2015

Anna opened the meeting with a prayer and then the minutes from 05/05/15 were circulated
Finance update Only thing spent since last meeting- cheque for £18.90.
Ipads Cheque for £1000 given to school during meeting.
Easy fundraising
When shopping online School asked that we encourage parents and staff to set up an account. You
can choose who you are raising money for and when you shop thropugh the site they will donate.
Groupcall to be sent out.
Sports day arm bands Arm bands are currently being made. They will be given to school when
finished, in time for sports day.
Fundraising 2015/16 Mrs Field put forward a project
– the sensory garden/Anne’s garden.
Around Anne Eames statue. Mrs Gilhooly has designed it. Costings still to come. Solar
powered water feature, walkways, archway. Positive thoughts from PTFA members present.
All voted in favour of supporting this project. Possible community event- staff, parents,
children, friends. Anna to collect letter from Asda about community projects.
Summer Fayre
Bottles in store at school to be checked- Maya/Kat.
Louise- prizes for lucky dip etc. To check food quantities from last year.
Anna- paper plates.
Anna & Moira- food.
Check freezer is plugged in beforehand and cold.
Bouncy slide provisionally booked- Kat to confirm. Side gate to be open from 1pm. Wet weather plan?
Check Pringles tube/ hoopla set.
Kat & helpers to label tombola items.
Sue- coconuts, more than last year.
Gemma/ Paul beat the goalie?
Maya- how many sweets in a jar.
Emma H- hamper and basket.
Windbreaks- Kat/Emma/Louise.
YR 6 leaver’s gift
All included in photographer’s package.

Summer Fayre meeting Friday 26th June 7pm at Kat’s house.

Mrs Field thanked everyone for their support. Ipads have been well used. She is excited about the
garden project.
