When you sign up for newsletters, updates, or submit a contact form on our website, we may ask for your
name, email address, mailing address, and phone number.
When you send contact or support requests via email (to info@amicicharity.com or
support@amicicharity.com), we may ask for your name, email address, and any additional information
provided by you or your email provider.
When you make a purchase or donation via www.amicicharity.com or www.amicicharity.us, we may ask for
your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and payment information or other information.
Amici Charity accepts donations and purchases using PayPal. You may review their Privacy Policy here
Amici Charity does not collect personal identifying information about individuals except when specifically and
consciously provided by visitors. We do use third-party services to gather anonymous information about
visitors and visits to our website in order to use this data to improve your experience using our site. Please see

How We Use Your Information
The information collected by Amici Charity may be used to:
 Service your contact inquiries or support requests
 Process/respond to transactions initiated by you (e.g. - Donations or purchases)

Information provided for the purpose of contributing a donation or making a purchase is also subject to the

Visitor Tracking and Cookies
Amici Charity uses a third party service provider (Google Analytics) to gain a better understanding of our
visitors and improve our website and online experience.

and interaction.
Third party service providers do not have access to your personal identifying information.

Board members and approved volunteers may have access to donor/customer information including name,
email address, mailing address, phone number, and email or message content. Payment information
(submitted through PayPal) is not accessible to Amici Charity or its board members.
Amici Charity does not engage in the sale, trade, or transfer to outside parties of your personal identifying
information.
"Outside Parties" does not apply to parties who assist Amici Charity in conducting our business, operating our
website, or providing service or assistance to you, contingent on the agreement that those parties maintain
the confidentiality of your information.
Amici Charity may release your information if necessary in order to comply with the law, enforce our policies,
or protect the rights, property, or safety of Amici Charity or others.
Information that is not personally identifiable (e.g. - site traffic and interaction data) may be provided to other
parties for marketing, advertising, or any other use.
Opt-Out of Email Communication
If you are receiving email communications from Amici Charity, you may elect to 'opt-out' of electronic
communication at any time by sending an email to support@amicicharity.com
To ensure your request is processed efficiently, please include "Opt-Out" in the subject line of your message.
Opt-out requests are processed as quickly as possible, but you may still receive any emails already in
production at the time your request is processed.

DONOR BILL OF RIGHTS
We believe philanthropy is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and
sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To ensure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the
general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the nonprofit organizations
and causes they are asked to support, we declare that all donors have these rights:
I. To be informed of the organization's mission, of the way the organization intends to use donated resources,
and of its capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.
II. To be informed of the identity of those serving on the organization's governing board, and to expect the
board to exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship responsibilities.
III. To have access to the organization's most recent financial statements.
IV. To be assured their gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given.
V. To receive appropriate acknowledgement and recognition.
VI. To be assured that information about their donation is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the
extent provided by law.
VII. To expect that all relationships with individuals representing organizations of interest to the donor will be
professional in nature.
VIII. To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of the organization or hired
solicitors.
IX. To have the opportunity for their names to be deleted from mailing lists that an organization may intend to
share.
X. To feel free to ask questions when making a donation and to receive prompt, truthful and forthright
answers.
