GRADUATE SCHOOL ERASMUS MOBILITY SCHOLAR, CACSSS, UCC
The Graduate School Erasmus Mobility Scholar scheme provides graduate students of the College of
Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences the opportunity to spend a period of study from three to nine months in a partner institution.
Eligibility:
Students must be engaged in a graduate programme in the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social
Sciences at UCC. This includes MPhil and PhD programmes and, in special circumstances and subject to approval, Master’s programmes.
Students must have specific academic reasons, relevant to their research, for studying abroad. These could include: attending courses or specialist seminars in their subject or related areas, availing of language courses or training programmes, accessing archives, conducting research under the guidance of an academic at the host institution, among others. Students must obtain the permission of their supervisor(s) and Head of Department/School to spend the period abroad engaging in an academic activity recognized by UCC.
In accordance with the parameters of the Erasmus programme, only EU citizens are eligible for funding. Non-EU students may be permitted to participate in the programme provided the host institution agrees.
