LD Middle School PTO Meeting Minutes

Meeting Minutes:
Introductions were made.
Move-A-Thon (4th annual)
1. LD Middle School received a check for $5,000 from communities that care. We received
$6,980.55 from other collections.
2. To do tasks below:
a. Possibly look into starting fund raising for next year.
b. New name idea - Have kids do a homeroom event to rename/vote on next year's
name for Move-a-thon. (Maria will handle)
Treasurer’s Report - BUDGET
Angie Durantine, Treasure, advised that we are at $16,166.
Also, we were asked to donate the annual funds towards the LD Seniors. ($100.00 will be
donated).
Fundraisers
1) Giant Bonus cards: Mary loaded these into the system. Funding will continue for this. (To
date - we have earned $4,157.08).
2) Spring Flowers: Will look into doing this next school year.

Mrs. Ravis and the Holocaust trip: Sweet Dawg collections were $49.08.
School Stores - Fridays in March 11 - 1pm.

grade taking this trip this year. This was not in
the budget, so to offer to assist, proposed that
there is a fundraiser with Sweet Dawgs and
proceeds go to this. (Carol got the Sweet Dawg
flyer for Mary.)
