i. Vice-President
1. Updates
a. Mr. UCCS wrap-up
Sam
Congratulations to Joel Jolly for winning. We had an amazing turn
out in Clyde’s and the place was packed. Thank you to our judges,
contestants, and emcees. This was a very successful event.
b. Midterm Mindspa
We had a good turnout with lot of residents who utilized the
resources. Thank you to everyone who showed up.
2. Programs
a. Halloween Dance
October 26 from 8-10pm
We are having our Halloween dance next Tuesday in the Upper
Lodge. We will have a costume contest with prizes. Some of
the prizes we are looking at are board games, candy, and a
butterfly chair. Help will be needed decorating along with
setting up. We are looking at some fun lighting for the event
that consists of black lights, strobe lights, some lights from
OSA, and a few fog machines. We would like to have a
zombie artist there who can paint faces on the spot. If you are
interested or know anyone please contact Sam at
shenry@uccs.edu.
3. Programming Committee
We will have a meeting this Wednesday at 5:30 in the Monarch
office. Please come if you would like to have your ideas included to
make programs more enjoyable for residents.
ii. National Communications Coordinator (NCC)

IACURH is in 22 days!! We are all very excited and cannot wait for
the festivities to begin.
2. Conferencing Committee
We will have a meeting this Thursday at 2:00 in the RHA office.
This is a MANDATORY meeting.

1. Advocacy Committee
We will be having a meeting this Wednesday at 4:30 in the RHA
office. Please come if you would like to see a change in the residence
halls or on campus.
2. Fundraising Committee
We will be having a meeting this Wednesday at 5:00 in the Monarch
office. Please come if you would like to help fundraise or have any
ideas about fundraisers.
We are looking into a few fundraisers. Pie Your RA is also a big hit
with the residents so we are waiting on feedback from the RA’s to see
if enough of them are interested. We are also looking into Chick-fil-A
for a fundraiser.
3. Turtleneck
Chiranth added a square knot and also a little flash drive. This week
he handed Turleneck over to someone who really cares about the
residents. This person is really involved in making a difference and he
wanted to thank them for all they do for the residents. Congratulations
to Kahea to accepting Turtleneck this week.
