Purpose: To provide an opportunity to observe and reflect on classroom instruction
and make connections to your own experiences, what you are learning in ARC, and
what you might do (or not do) in your own classroom as a future teacher.
Please see the teaching competencies below. Jot down examples in as many areas
you are able to observe. Be as specific as you can. For example, what is the teaching
saying and doing, and what are the students saying and doing?
Complete one of these forms for each class observed. You can use additional
paper and or your separate notes, as long as your cover each of these
competencies. Please turn this form or your notes into your Method’s
instructor following your discussion of these observations.
